How It Works
Skincare that works while baby does baby things.
Most baby skincare asks you to do something: apply a cream, remember to reapply, wash it off later. We designed something different. The Bask Gentle Liner delivers clean, effective ingredients to baby’s skin automatically, inside any diaper. Here’s how.
3 Simple Steps
Place. Wear. Done.

Place the liner
Pull a liner from the pack, unfold it, and lay it inside any diaper with the soft textured side facing up, against baby's skin. It takes less time than squeezing a tube of cream.
The liner is thin and flexible. It doesn't add bulk to the diaper, doesn't affect absorbency, and stays in place through even the wiggliest diaper changes.

Let it work
Once the diaper is on, two things happen naturally:
Body heat activation: Baby's skin temperature (around 36–37°C) gently warms the liner, releasing shea butter and squalane that form a soft moisture-conditioning layer.
Moisture activation: When moisture contacts the liner, panthenol and a citric acid buffer dissolve on contact, conditioning the skin and helping balance pH.

Change and replace
When it's time for a fresh diaper, the liner comes out with the old one. Discard both. Place a new liner in the new diaper.
No residue to clean up. No cream to wash off your hands. No step to forget.
The Science
Two ways it works
The Bask liner uses two natural activation mechanisms. No batteries, no electronics, no effort required.

Body heat activation
Shea butter and squalane are solid at room temperature but melt at skin temperature (around 36\u201337\u00b0C), forming a gentle moisture layer that conditions baby’s skin for the entire wear period.

Moisture activation
Panthenol and a citric acid buffer are embedded in the liner fibers. When moisture contacts the liner, they dissolve on contact, conditioning the skin and helping maintain a comfortable pH.

FAQ
Common questions
Everything parents ask us about the Bask Gentle Liner.
No. The liner is engineered to be liquid-permeable, so moisture passes straight through it into the diaper's absorbent core. In our testing, diapers with a Bask liner performed identically to diapers without one.
Yes. The liner sits on top of any absorbent layer. For cloth diapers, simply place it inside the way you would a disposable liner. Remove and discard it at change time. The liner itself is not reusable, but the rest of your cloth system works exactly as before.
The liner is formulated to deliver ingredients over the full wear period. During the day that's typically 2–4 hours per diaper. For overnight use, the liner continues working for 8–12 hours. There's no need to reapply or refresh.
No. Booster pads add absorbency. The Bask liner delivers skin-conditioning ingredients. It's thin by design and doesn't bulk up the diaper or change how it fits. Think of it as skincare, not absorption.
You can, but you don't have to. Many parents use it at every change for consistent conditioning. Others use it mainly overnight or during longer wear times. Use it in a way that fits your routine.
If your pediatrician has recommended a specific cream, use it as directed. The Bask liner is designed for everyday skin conditioning, and it works best on its own, without a layer of cream between it and the skin.
Yes. Every ingredient in the Bask liner is rated safe for use on infant skin. The liner contains no fragrances, no parabens, no phthalates, and no drugs. It's dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic.
The same thing that happens without the liner. You clean up and start fresh. The liner doesn't make blowouts more or less likely. Simply discard it along with the diaper and use a new one.
